...the fine art of Pamela Bergen

Pamela Bergen
Alberta, Canada

"This wonderful life I am living has
become my inspiration to paint
like never before."

Pamela Bergen was born in Alabama, with the heart of an artist from a young age. In Pam’s own words…”I said I was NEVER going to live more than five miles from the place I was born!” But when she met Allen, it was love at first sight. One year later she and Allen married and were off to start a new life on the farm in Western Canada!  So, it is true, never say NEVER! Pamela says…."Living on the farm with my husband, is just the greatest place to be, I am a very happy wife and Allen really encourages me and my love of art. The view of the Rocky Mountains, the clean prairie air and wildlife in Alberta can only be described as incredible. Painting wildlife is my favourite subject of all, oils are my favourite medium and acrylics are a close second.”

Since 1984 when she sold her first painting at the Western Kentucky “Ducks Unlimited” Coalfield Chapter until now nearly 2,500 miles from the place of her birth, Pamela is staying busy working on illustrations for Children’s Christian literature, teaching art, organizing International and local art workshops and working on a number of new wildlife paintings for 2010.

Pamela has served as Show Chairman and Board Director as well as regular member of numerous art organizations. Her original art, prints, commissions and murals are found in business and private collections from sunny Palm Beach Florida to Beautiful British Columbia. She has many times donated her talents, painting murals and other art projects when possible at  Women’s  Shelters, Church’s and helping to raise money with her paintings for non-profit and conservation organizations.

Pamela Bergen’s wish is to leave some of her art in this world in hopes to make people happy in some way as a tribute to her Dad, her always and forever Hero. “God Bless him and Keep Him Forever in Your care, for his kind, gentle & loving heart made him the best Dad any Artist could ever have!”
